Sometimes some people are happier about life and self than others. What is so different between happy people and sad people? And what is the difference between feeling good about yourself and feeling bad about yourself? Let's take one step at a time. You need to know that some people are more sensitive than others. If you are a sensitive person you would definitely be more sensitive to pain and suffering and you would feel insecure about yourself too. Someone's comment or lack of integrity would hurt you deeper than any other person. So, to start feeling good about yourself you need to get rid of any guild of who you are. Accept yourself as you are, accept yourself even if you feel bad sometimes, accept yourself with all your faults and love yourself as God loves you. To feel good about yourself you need to have good thoughts. Having a friend would help because we always want to be accepted, friends can make you feel good about yourself. If you have friends who care about you and have your back, then you will always feel reassured and will feel better about yourself. But what to do if you have no true friends and no one to trust ? If you can't rely on anybody but yourself, then rely on God. Make God a priority in your life and follow him with all your heart. Focus on other things in life than yourself. You are a very important person, you always remember that, and if someone didn't try to please you heard enough, don't blame yourself and don't feel bad about yourself and who you are. Always be your best friend and true to yourself..but how? Keep your conscious clear and do the best you can do in any situation. God will take care of all your problems if you do your best. Tell God that it's the best you can do and ask him to protect your heart and make you happier. It can be frustrating at first, but soon you will start figuring out that all your efforts were important. Treat everyone good even if you were mistreated. Just because you experienced pain in life isn't a reason to make more pain in others. Be the best you can be and it will help you to live life free of guilt and wrong doing. The happiness and piece comes from the realization that your life is good. Look lives of others, just because they don't tell you, it doesn't mean they don't have problems. Everyone has something to deal with and something important to figure out. People who had the hardest lives often times are more at piece and happier about current situation comparing to struggles they had before. It's better to look around and realize that your struggles aren't as big as others....It's better to look around and see things than experience it yourself. Start to appreciate your good life now, small steps at a time will lead to be better future for you later. |
